Se pueden agrupar en tres familias: - válvulas de interceptación: bloquean o cambian el sentido del aire comprimido en base a las necesidades (ejem. ver elementos lógicos OR o AND). - válvulas de regulación: varían el flujo del aire comprimido en base a las necesidades regulando presión y/o caudal.
